Hatchers Martial Arts offers traditional Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. A more self defense approach is the focus in every class, although the academy participates in tournaments often. Classes are offered every day Mon-Sat for Kids and teen/Adults. MMA classes are also offered for teens and adults. The academy was one of the first to teach Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in the state of Tenn. Mr. Hatcher was hand picked by Master Rickson as a Rep. of the Rickson Gracie Int. Jiu-Jitsu assoc. There are five black belts who teach classes, although Mr Hatcher instructs 99% of all classes. The academy has been open since 1989 and has operated as a full time academy since 1994.
