Former european champion, I competed for the team Megaton/Gracie Humaita in Brasil, USA, Europe? I had the chance to meet Helio Gracie, Royler, Rolker in Brazil and eventually Rickson and Kron while competing. I realised a dream, finding in jiu-jitsu such a fine martial art. I practice and teach also freediving, wich is to me a perfect combination. I like to build and share a life style, an art of life we are all seaking even subcounsciously.

I created the academy BJJ GOZO TEAM FRANCOIS DENIAU (TFD) in Gozo, a small island located in the middle of the mediterranean sea, 90 km south of Sicily, and 200km north of Tunisia. I went there the first time in 2011 and started to build up a bjj academy in a paradise, exploring the sea around the island, getting more inspired and connected. Our academy is a place where we do bjj but also mma, yoga, breathing techniques, meditation? During the day we go freediving, kayaking or exploring with a jeep.
